Dance was pretty fun. Have to admit that it turned out better than I'd hoped.

Oh, and sorry about the delay with the PS3--since hundreds of students showed up and all, we still have to count everyone's earnings. I expect that the contest results will be announced and the PS3 presented to its winner sometime next week.

Things were kinda loud and rowdy, and my dress got torn a bit, but I definitely had a good time. Learned that Chizuru knows how to dance, for one.

As many of you probably know, next Wednesday marks the night of Karakura University's Valentine's Day Formal. Since this formal is set up in a very different fashion than the rest of the school's dances, this post will explain to everyone exactly how it works. (And while I know that I could have asked the Dean to send an email out to everyone, there are some things that... are better kept from him about the dance.)

The theme of this year's Valentine's Day Formal is: Debauchery.

Upon entry to the dance, students are required to hand their ticket to the person at the front desk, and in return for their ticket, they will receive up to two things: 1. fifty Bauch bucks, and 2. a stamp if they are of legal drinking age.

Bauch bucks are the currency used at the dance in exchange for dares or favors. They can be used to buy anything from another person, provided that the action is not illegal (this rules out sex in a public place, guys) and that the other person agrees to the action. Now, here's the clincher: Bauch bucks are not only worth getting because you get to make people do shit, the person who has accumulated the largest sum by the end of the dance also gets a prize: a complete PlayStation 3 console system. And that's pretty sweet.

A couple of notes about drinking. Firstly, don't try to fool the folks at the registration desk about your age. We have student records on hand. If you're caught trying to pass off a fake ID, you will be kicked out of the dance. End of story. For those who are of age, there will be a bar serving alcohol for $1 per drink (that's right, whether you order Schmirnoff's or straight-up vodka), and we have not set any type of limit on the number of drinks you can order--just use your best judgment. Bartenders will be checking for stamps, so don't try to order if you're underage. However, the dance will be fairly dim with regards to lighting, and there won't be any guards or chaperones screening anywhere other than the close vicinity of the bar... take that as you will.

Tickets are already on sale at the ticket office (or from any member of the student council) for $15 per person, $25 per couple.

Things have been real hectic lately between the blizzard, preppin' for finals, and the new puppy, so I haven't been as active with this journal as usual. Sorry 'bout that.

The pup's real fun though, so I should be thankin' you for giving him to us, Hime. He doesn't have a name yet, 'cause Ichigo keeps on shooting down every suggestion I offer, but I've gotten in the habit of callin' him Z, and I think the pup's beginning to acknowledge it. The way I figure, if the puppy starts goin' by a name that I choose, Ichigo won't have any way of changin' it, right?

Aside from that, Ichigo seems to be havin' fun preparing for this band of his. He keeps me up at all hours with that guitar of his, but if he enjoys it, I guess I can't complain. ~~And well, I rather like it anyway.~~

Been a rather odd Christmas season this year, and Christmas hasn't even come 'round yet. I guess that overall, there are a few things worth notin':

1. Ichigo can't hang lights worth shit. ~~Drapin' the lights all over his body was rather fun though.~~

2. Mizuiro, Keigo, you two are just unbelievable. You're lucky that I think havin' Karin and Ichigo on your trails is bad enough.

Days feel kinda empty, since I quit field hockey and stu co. Well, kinda. I'm stickin' with stu co until the Halloween Masquerade's over, since I've been doin' most of the arrangements for that anyway. I hope that everyone'll enjoy it, 'cause I put a lotta effort into that thing. Still not sure if I'm gonna go... I probably will, since Hime's goin' ~~and I gotta make sure Ishida keeps his lecherous hands offa her~~ and I've done too much for the thing t'just miss it. But we'll see.

Yeah, and t'answer everyone's question: no, dates aren't required. It's a pretty low-key dance. Just an excuse t'wear costumes on Halloween (and yes, that part is mandatory). I need t'get one of those soon. Any ideas, Hime?
